Empty sandbags and sand are available at no cost to Fargo residents threatened by floodwaters. People must show identification and prove they need the assistance. For more information, or for a sand delivery, call the Fargo Engineering Department at
241-1545.
Department workers will provide elevation information and install depth stakes. Sandbags won’t be delivered; they can be picked up at 402 23rd St. N.

Sandbags Warehouse in Fargo is selling sandbags and plastic to seal dikes, and will help people figure how much sand they’ll need to buy from a contractor and how to build a dike.
